Bell ring
The Dead Ringer is a miscellaneous item found in a specific Elder Wood Chest in a hut to the right of the Underground Portal. Additionally, it can be purchased from the Fallen after finding it once. The item does nothing on its own, instead the player must find certain soulful corpses in Spirit Tombs and ⚷ Open / Activate them with the Dead Ringer in their hand. Doing so will usually result in a spirit NPC appearing for the player to talk to.
While Spirit Walking, the Dead Ringer can be used from anywhere in the inventory, including Void Bag and Piggy Bank, without needing to be in the player's hand.
Tips
- It is recommended to first use this on the soulful corpse next to the Underground Portal, as it unlocks the Spirit Walker Ability, along with a helpful guide if used on the corpse a second time.
