The 0.7.9.6 update is a minor content update to Mod of Redemption, it reworked Omega Obliterator, among other things.

Additions

  • Added an extra part to the Keeper's closure cutscene

Changes

  • King Slayer's last phase music no longer starts even when Space Keepers are still alive
  • Reduced radius at which the Sunshard Greatstave homes into enemies to be a tiny amount, almost removing the homing
  • Wearing a gas mask or HEV Suit clears the Wasteland's green fog
  • If music pack isn't enabled a message will appear when you enter the world telling you to get it
  • Normal Thorn has more telegraphs for attacks and should teleport better
  • Dark Shard renamed to Dark Fragment
  • Thorn only does his vilethorn-like vine attack if the player is close enough to it, if the player moves away while the attack happens Thorn will quickly change to a different attack
  • Thorn doesn't deal contact damage while teleporting, in case he decides to teleport on you
  • Removed dying from chaos state if in lab and instead RoD just can't be used in lab, unless patient zero is defeated
  • Protector Volt no longer deals contact damage
  • Slayer's Crashed Ship will always generate on the dungeon side of the world
  • Added damage cap to friendly projectiles reflected by enemies so you don't instantly die because of an enemy reflecting one of your weapon's projectiles
  • Renamed Vlitch Gigipede to Vlitch Gigapede
  • Changed Seed of Infection's charge attacks
  • Buffed Stave of Life and Creation Seedbag

  • Skeletons no longer spawn small lost souls if they were spawned from a statue

  • Buffed Ancient Brass Armour
  • Radioactive Sand can fall like normal sand
  • Converted Bow of the Blind Seamstress from druidic to ranged damage
  • Changed how Irradiated Corruption/Crimson enemies spawn so its more consistent
  • Changed how the Wasteland generates after Infected Eye is defeated
  • Bob the Blob now takes 5x more damage from attacks and Living Black Gloop takes 2x more damage
  • Ancient Power Stave now shows its guardian info like its suppose to
  • Renamed "Cursed Thorn Pickaxe Axe" to "Sicklethorn Pickaxe Axe", "Cursed Thorn Hammer" to "Twinrose Hammer", and "Ancient Pickaxe Axe" to "Earthbreaker Pickaxe Axe".
  • Nightshade is a little rarer, it wont grow in water, and it wont grow if there's a wall behind it
  • Any guardian that gives both swift-cast and triple/quad-shot will no longer have swift-cast
  • Improved Ancient Deity Duo's damage reduction.
  • Skeleton Watering Can's bone projectiles no longer drop bone items
  • Ichor Spark from Infected Thornshield no longer deals 1 damage, it just inflicts Ichor
  • Keeper's Circlet works on more skeleton enemies (Bone Serpents, Cursed Skulls, Undead Miners, Undead Vikings, Armoured Vikings, Blue Armoured Bones, Hell Armoured Bones, Rusty Armoured Bones, Bone Lee, Giant Cursed Skull, all skeletons that shoot stuff don't deal contact damage but can still hit you with their projectile)
  • Bearded Hatchet deals 50% more damage to all skeleton enemies, and Bronze Greatsword has a guaranteed critical strike when hitting skeleton enemies
  • New way boss dialogue appears
  • Mini-Vlitch Core and Heart of Infection are light pets instead of normal pets
  • Stunned and Chained debuffs completely stop the player from moving instead of the player kinda just falling very slowly
  • Velocity from the Tuhon Aura decreases a lot by the end of the attack so you don't fly supersonic speed
  • Violin, Nestori's Violin, and Viisaan Kantele's sound effect changes in pitch depending on how far away the cursor is to you, like the Magic Harp
  • Nightshade begins growing after Thorn is defeated
  • Heart of Thorns can grow on grass at day, grows less often after Thorn is defeated, grows even less often in hardmode
  • Belrose has Chlorophyte Bars instead of a Broken Hero Stave in the recipe
  • Changed Corpse-Walker Staff's drop rate from 1/25 to 1/3
  • King Slayer gives you a message that he'll be leaving soon and to do anything you still need doing with him after Moonlord is defeated
  • Changed Girus Core to give T-Bot vanity pieces with multiple variants for heads. Adam and Janitor sells different T-Bot heads if wearing one. Added Janitor Outfit and Android (Volt's) Armour.

Fixes

  • Optimized how custom skies are loaded so the mod shouldnt run out of memory as often when reloading
  • Fixed issue with multiple wayfarers spawning
  • Radroot grows properly
  • Fixed issue where chests that need a Keycard or Holo-Key wouldn't open if you had more than 1 of the keys in your inventory
  • Protector Volt is now beatable in multiplayer.
