"Feel the sense of frustration, prepare for obliteration"
The Omega Obliterator is a post-Moon Lord boss and is the third Omega Prototype.
While the Omega Obliterator is alive, the music HAILFIRE MELTDOWN will play.
Spawn
The Omega Obliterator is summoned by using the 3rd option of the Omega Transmitter at night, after defeating the Moon Lord and receving the Keycard from Girus.
Behavior
The first time the Omega Obliterator is summoned, it will greet the player before abruptly firing a massive Obliterator Beam as a surprise attack. This attack will not occur on subsequent re-fights if the player has survived it at least once.
At the start of the fight, the Obliterator will create a boxed arena of translucent walls, preventing players from escaping.
Attacks
- Directional Charge - Quickly dashes at the player twice.
- Side Charge - Dashes horizontally, firing a large number of
Omega Blasts above and below itself.
- Plasma Orb I - Tries to fly close to the player before launching an
Omega Plasma Orb, which will gradually slow down before lingering in place for a while, repeating two more times. The Orbs will attempt to "stick" to the player if they touch them, dealing constant contact damage. Hitting an Omega Plasma Orb with any projectile will burst it into 4 Omega Blasts aimed directly at the player.
- Below 60% health, launches 3 Omega Plasma Orbs in a fixed spread instead of 1.
- Below 40% health, performs this attacks faster.
- Plasma Orb II - Moves vertically while launching a total of 10 Omega Plasma Orbs in a line.
- Annihilation Cannon - Places a large amount of
Crosshairs around the player and fires
Barrage Missiles that
explode upon reaching their target. The rate of fire is increased if the player is far away from the Omega Obliterator.
- Below 40% health, gains increased rate of fire.
- Plasma Shots - Hovers to the side of the player, flying up and down while rapidly firing
Omega Lasers. After the barrage, Omega Obliterator will slow down and fire a horizontal
Omega Beam.
- Below 40% health, gains increased rate of fire.
- Below 20% health, the rate of fire is increased further.
Below 70% health, gains the following attack:
- Waving Deathray - Remains level with the player and fires two waving Omega Beams in front of itself, which will sweep a V-shaped area in front of it.
Below 60% health, gains the following attack:
- Stun Beam - Positions itself below and to the side of the player, before firing a horizontal
Stun Beam and flying upwards. If the Stun Beam hits the player, they will be afflicted with the Static Shock! debuff, and the Obliterator will launch a large amount of Barrage Missiles directly at them.
Overheat Phase
When the Omega Obliterator is brought to 1 health, it will become invulnerable, regenerate all of its health, and enter its desperation phase. It consists of a fixed sequence of attacks it previously used, but much faster and with some changes. The Omega Obliterator will stay invincible, but will lose 5% (1/20) of its max health per second during this phase.
- Side Charge x2.
- Plasma Shots (fires far more Omega Lasers, and the Omega Beam is now a cluster of 12 Omega Beams that cover a V-shaped area in front of it).
- Annihilation Cannon (fires Barrage Missiles much faster).
- Plasma Orb II (leaves 8 Orbs instead of 10).
- Directional Charge x2 (total of 4 dashes).
- Levels itself with the player, charges up, and unleashes the Obliterator Beam.
If the player survives the overheat phase, the Omega Obliterator will self-destruct, leaving its loot behind.
On the For the worthy seed
- The Obliterator Beam is much larger.

Aftermath
- The Toaster will have different sprite and dialogue.
- King Slayer III will leave the Crashed Ship. Trying to summon him will instead summon his clone.
Tips
- Always keep moving in case of a sudden charge. When the Obliterator is about to charge, it will backpedal a bit, so use that as an indicator.
- The Rod of Discord is a great way to escape if you are hit by its Stun Beam attack.
- Circling it is usually a good idea, since a lot of its attacks are done horizontally to the player.
Notes
- Effects that grant the ability to dodge attacks, such as Brain of Confusion or Master Ninja Gear, will not work on the Obliterator Beam. Hallowed armor, however, will provide immunity to it.
Trivia
- The
Bestiary entry for the Omega Obliterator: "An autonomous war machine mostly of Girus' own design with many integrated weapon systems, such as literal finger guns and an advanced heat dispersion system in the form of a giant beam, capable of obliterating anyone it engulfs - Also where Obliterator got its name from."
- Omega Obliterator's "Yo" voiceline is voiced by Moonburn.
- According to Omega Obliterator's pre-fight dialogue and Toaster's appearance after Omega Obliterator has been defeated, its personality drive got scrapped and put into the toaster after losing to player.
- The design of the boss was completely based on a cut enemy design from the game Intrusion 2
