The Prototype Silver Mk.I is a Hardmode enemy that rarely spawns on the Surface during the day and only when the player's Slayer Star Rating (SSR) is at 2 or higher. Initially, it alternates between being idle and wandering around. Prototype Silvers do not attack the player, unless attacked first or if the player's SSR is above 0. However, due to their spawn condition they will almost always attack the player on sight. Prototype Silvers possess a Bubble Shield that absorbs all projectiles, deactivating after taking 800 damage. The shield will reactivate once the Prototype Silver's health reaches 50% or lower. Their main attack consists of shooting three consecutive Eye Beams directly at the player that inflict Electrified. The second attack will only be performed if the player is above the Prototype Silver and it consists of a Grappling Hook that reels the player toward the Prototype.

Upon reaching 20% of its max health, The Prototype Silver will try to teleport away. If it successfully leaves, the player's SSR will increase by 1, up to 4 max. Additionally, Prototype Silvers will not try to teleport if the player's SSR is at 4 or higher.

• The Bestiary entry for the Prototype Silver Mk.I: "Prototype Silvers were the 2nd Slayer Unit constructed, with a built-in shield generator and durable plating. Made for military purposes during an alien war in Asherah. The war was a swift one. Despite its name, it's mainly composed of the spare titanium from Alkonost."
