The Hazmat Zombie is a Hardmode enemy found in the Wasteland. Initially it alternates between being idle and wandering around. Upon spotting the player, it will become aggressive, running towards them and dealing contact damage.

Bestiary entry for the Hazmat Zombie: "Even the undead dislike the radiation left from a nuclear blast. Although the suits they wear don't help much, seeing as they're quite torn."

- 0.8.0.4020:
- Now uses dynamic debuff immunities.
- Reduced the drop rate of the Gas Mask from 5% to 2.5%.
- Reduced the drop rate of the Hazmat Suit (Classic) from 5% to 0.5%.
- 0.8.0.4010: Fixed not being able to jump up on platforms while wandering.
- 0.8.0.4: Now drops Xenomite after defeating any Mechanical Boss instead of Xenomite Shards.
