Version History

The 0.8.0.4010 ported the mod over to tModloader 1.4.4. This port added Shimmer support, along with various changes and bug fixes.

Additions

  • Added Ornate Shinkite Brick Wall.
  • Implemented various Shimmer recipes and interactions for this mod's items and NPCs.
  • Localisation to most text.
  • Added bestiary entry for Calavia.
  • Added 6 new hairstyles.
  • Added an extra room to the lab that the Master Lab Access Panel opens, holding a chest with all 4 Patient Zero weapon drops.
  • Added Mod Calls for other mods to add elements to their own NPCs, Items, and Projectiles.
  • Added Boss Checklist entry for Post-ML lab.

Changes

  • Resprited Shinkite Brick Wall, Forest Nymph's Sickle, King's Oak Staff, and its minion.
  • Forest Nymph NPC can trade a Metal Detector with 10 Blinkroot.
  • Changed Explosive bonus to "Deals double damage to Guard Points and penetrates through defense" (Penetrates through 20% of an enemy's defense).
  • Grave Steel Shards can be found inside slimes, similar to ores.
  • Silver Rapier and Pondering Trees painting is sold after any "earlygame" vanilla boss is defeated instead of only Eye of Cthulhu.
  • All irradiated tiles can be put into Chlorophyte Extractinator to give normal versions of them.
  • Normal damage combat text is hidden when hitting Guard Points.
  • Reduced damage reduction The Janitor has when slipped to be normal damage (Previously 2x damage when stunned).
  • Keycards and Holokeys can be used while they're in Void Bags.
  • Niric Brass Cogs can be obtained as items when mined.
  • Rod of Harmony gives Chaos State while a boss is active, and is also disabled in Laboratory pre-Patient Zero.
  • Changed Treebark Dryad's shop to always sell a random moss, fruit, and accessory.
  • Gave MACE Project defense (from 0 to 90), and nerfed health to accommodate from 160000 to 120000.
  • Nerfed Ancient Gladestone Golem's defense from 20 to 10 to account for defense now affecting guard point damage.
  • Pocket-Shield Generator now takes player defense into account when getting damaged, however defense for it is only 50% effective.
  • Changed item in energy weapon tooltips to show energy needed from Energy Pack to Energy Cell to cause less confusion.
  • Shimmer phasing is disabled in the Abandoned Laboratory.
  • Laboratory Tubes, Laboratory Tanks, and Overgrown Laboratory Panels can be crafted now with Unsafe Laboratory Panels.
  • All tiles that were unbreakable requiring 500% pick power now require 1000% pick power.
  • The Fool's grand appearance from the dirt mound is a lot more dirtier.
  • Increased spawn chance of Treebark Dryad.
  • Renamed Anti-John Snail to ANTI JOHN SNAIL.
  • Sorrowful Essence will also increase spawn rates of friendly Skull Digger.
  • Increased Expert damage scaling for Akka, Ukko, Omega Cleaver, Gigapora, King Slayer, Omega Obliterator, Patient Zero, and Thorn from .6 to .75.
  • Gave Nanoswarmer 15 armour penetration and decreased damage from 32 to 22.
  • Improved visuals of Erhan's attacks.
  • Patient Zero's and Protector Volt's laser beams have a glow at the end of the beam.
  • Sewer Holes in the lab will occassionally spawn Blisterlings.
  • Increased Calavia's attack range above her.
  • Improved dialogue of some datalogs.
  • Woke Newb no longer has happiness button.
  • Egg Crackers have a glow now.
  • Added line in Uranium tooltip saying its minable with a Picksaw.

Fixes

  • Fixed grammar and spelling mistakes.
  • This mod's Music Boxes can no longer get prefixes.
  • Ore Bomb and Mini Warhead count as bombs for Demolitionist to spawn.
  • This mod's potions have drinking particles.
  • All this mod's chests have been set so Town NPCs don't stand in front of them and fairies can lure the player to them.
  • Shown materials for King Slayer's quest items in his chat box look less messy now.
  • Fixed Kyretha's spirit hit noise's origin not being at the NPC.
  • Unbreakable tiles (500% Pickaxe Power) won't be selected with smart cursor.
  • Elder Wood Bed and Clock need a Sawmill instead of Work Bench now.
  • Fixed all of this mod's grounded enemies not jumping up on platforms while they're wandering.
  • Calavia NPC can no longer drown.
  • Fixed modded torches and campfires.
  • Music Boxes and Banners no longer create dust when mined.
  • Fixed Epidotrian Skeletons from being invisible besides the head in multiplayer.
  • Abandoned Laboratory and Slayer's Crashed Ship walls are now blacklisted for teleportation potions.
  • Fixed the small cutscene after Irradiated Behemoth from sometimes not happening.
