The Blisterface is a post-Moon Lord infected fish miniboss fought in the Abandoned Lab. It is the first post-Moon Lord miniboss of the Lab.
It drops Lab Access Panel - Sigma, which deactivates the laser security systems in the Sigma Sector area, allowing for further exploration of the Abandoned Lab. It also drops the Special Keycard used for obtaining the Nano Pickaxe.
While Blisterface is alive, the music Safety Violation will play.
Spawning
The Blisterface intially lays dormant in the room past the Red Laser labyrinth. Entering its room will prompt it to start the fight.
After the initial fight, the Blisterface can be re-summoned by using the Hologram Remote in its arena.
Behavior
The Blisterface swims underneath the player, occasionally jumping out of the water and spewing a barrage of Toxic Bubbles forward. While submerged, the Blisterface gains 90% damage reduction and will emit slowly ascending Toxic Bubbles. Additionally, it will periodically spawn enhanced Blistered Fish enemies, which can jump out of the water as well. A maximum of 5 enhanced Blistered Fish can exist at the same time.
Toxic Bubbles launched by the Blisterface have a chance to contain a normal Blistered Fish inside of them, releasing it upon popping.
Below 50% health, the Blisterface will perform its jump attack more frequently.

Trivia
- The Bestiary entry for the Blisterface: "An unfortunate fish, disfigured and mutilated beyond recognition by the Xenomite infection. This strain seems to be similar to that of the Blistered Scientists... That's a bigass fish."
