The Omega Cleaver is a Hardmode boss fought during nighttime and is the first of the 3 Omega Prototypes.
While the Omega Cleaver is alive, the music Armageddon Interface will play.
Spawn
The Omega Cleaver does not spawn on its own, and is summoned by using the 1st option of the Omega Transmitter at night. On use, the Wielder Bot will fly up to the player's location, and spawn the Omega Cleaver from behind himself, before initiating the fight.
Behavior
The Wielder Bot will command and swing the Omega Cleaver, who utilizes a wide range of attacks. Contact with the Cleaver or its phantom blades deals very high damage and inflicts the Snipped debuff, massively reducing wing flight time. In addition, a box of translucent walls will form an arena around the Wielder Bot when it first spawns, trapping players with it. The Wielder Bot itself does not attack, but is protected by a ring of orbitals that deletes all non-minion projectiles that touches it.
If the Omega Cleaver is defeated, then the Wielder Bot will surrender and flee, leaving its loot behind. If the Wielder Bot is defeated, then the Omega Cleaver will self-destruct, dropping the Cleaver Remote as a special reward.
Attacks
- Swing Spin: The Omega Cleaver is swung around Wielder Bot's body in a circle.
- Speen I: The Omega Cleaver spins constantly, spawning
Omega Blasts that travel in random directions. - Swing: The Omega Cleaver swings up or down, spawning Omega Blasts along the path of the swing.
- Stab: The Omega Cleaver stabs toward the player at very high speeds.
- Twin Blade Slice: The Omega Cleaver slashes underneath the player, then stabs forward and backtracks to its previous location.
- (Below 90% HP) Blade Pillars: The Omega Cleaver travels directly over the player's head, before splitting into
Phantom Cleavers that cover the width of the arena, and all stab down. - (Below 75% HP) Sword Burst: The Omega Cleaver pauses in place and summons numerous Phantom Cleavers around it, which will all be fired at the player after a few seconds.
- (Below 30% HP) Red Prism: Stops moving and begins rotating, firing a
sustained laser from its tip as it does so.
Quotes
When Omega Cleaver is defeated, Wielder Bot will say the following line before leaving:

Rarely, when summoned Wielder Bot will say the following lines:
- "I came here to kick gum..."
- "and chew ass..."
- "And I'm all out of ass."

These quotes appear from Girus in order:

Tips
- Due to the boss' high damage and inflicting the Snipped debuff, even one hit is likely crippling and can lead into taking even more hits. Only its melee attacks inflict Snipped, so it is advised to get hit by its ranged ones if forced to make a choice.
- The Omega Cleaver will not deal contact damage unless it is being swung, so it is possible to come in close contact with the boss.
