The Nuclear Shadow is a Hardmode enemy found in the Wasteland. It alternates between being idle and wandering around. It can only be damaged by Arcane, Celestial, Holy, and Psychic Elemental weapons or by any weapon while the Spirit Walker ability is active.
The Nuclear Shadow normally appears as a shadow on the ground, but will appear as a human-shaped silhouette when in front of a background wall.
Nuclear Shadow can be detected by the Lifeform Analyzer and its upgrades. It also requires 25 kills to be awarded completion of its Bestiary entry and its banner, as opposed to the usual 50 kills.

Bestiary entry for the Nuclear Shadow: "A Human Shadow Etched in Stone, all that remains of someone who was vaporized by a nuclear blast. Also known as a Human Shadow of Death."
- The Nuclear Shadow is based off of a real shadow of a man imprinted into stone during the bombing of Nagasaki in 1945.
