Dancing Skeletons are Pre-Hardmode enemies that spawn during the Raveyard event. They are stationary and deal no damage to the player, but have a 33% chance of becoming a normal Epidotrian Skeleton upon getting hit. Dancing Skeletons can spawn either with a Trumpet, producing a doot once in a while, or performing one of the 6 dances with varying speed.
A Dancing Skeleton has a 25% chance to spawn with Glowing Eyes, which will increase its stats. Killing a Glowing Eyes Skeleton will always spawn a Lost Soul as opposed to the usual 14.29% chance. If a Glowing Eyes Dancing Skeleton becomes an Epidotrian Skeleton after being hit, that Skeleton will retain Glowing Eyes.

Bestiary entry for the Dancing Skeleton: "Created when a corpse is bound by a soul, and the soul can still remember the last piece of music it heard. It will attempt to mimic the exact sounds it remembers. If it can't do that, then it will just dance uncontrollably. Some tunes are more deadly than others."
