The Blistered Scientist is a Hardmode enemy found in the Abandoned Lab. Initially it alternates between being idle and wandering around. Blistered Scientists are blind and only react to movement in their vicinity. If the player stands still or moves extremely slowly, the Blistered Scientist will not notice them. Upon being alerted, it will run towards its target, dealing contact damage.

• The Bestiary entry for the Blistered Scientist: "An unfortunate scientist, disfigured and mutilated beyond recognition by the Xenomite infection. This strain is somewhat aggressive and their skin is covered in blisters... God, do they look repulsive."
