The Ooze Blob is a Hardmode enemy found in the Abandoned Laboratory. They spawn by mining Hardened Sludge or Black Hardened Sludge.
Ooze Blobs possess a unique ability to consume other Ooze Blobs and NPCs that target them. If a Blob consumes another entity, it will heal 50 health and gain +50 max health, +5 damage, +5% knockback resist and will increase in size by 10%. They cannot consume entities that are larger than them or have more health than the Blob's damage, as well as bosses, Spirit and Inorganic Types, and NPCs immune to damage. The maximum amount of entities an Ooze Blob can consume is 92. Killing an Ooze Blob will spawn Ooze Blobs equal to half of the amount of consumed entities.
