The Sandskin Spider is a critter found in the Desert during the Day. Initially it alternates between being idle and wandering around, trying to keep a certain distance from hostile NPCs. The Sandskin Spider can bury into Sand Blocks if there are any hostile NPCs or players nearby. Doing so will render it impervious to attacks until the threat leaves or the tile it burrowed into is destroyed. It can be caught with any type of Bug Net and may be used as fishing bait, with a bait power of 15%.
Notes
- If the player is afflicted with the Devil Scented debuff, the Sandskin Spider will not hide from them.

Bestiary entry for the Sandskin Spider: "A spider that commonly burrows in the desert sands. They don't normally come out, due to the intense heat of the sun."
