The Omega Transmitter is a Hardmode summoning item that is delivered to the player by a Gift Drone after defeating the Irradiated Behemoth. It can also be bought from The Janitor. It can only be used at night and after Plantera, Golem, or Moon Lord have been defeated. It is used to summon Omega Cleaver, Omega Gigapora and Omega Obliterator. This item will emit a red glow whenever a new Prototype is available to be summoned. Right clicking the item will change which Prototype to summon.
Before defeating Plantera, this item gains an additional tooltip line that says "No Omega Prototypes can be called now" and using the item will display the text "Nothing happens..."
After defeating Plantera, the tooltip line changes to "1st Omega Prototype 'The corrupted blade draws near the power, thus beginning the final hour'". Using the item in this mode will summon Omega Cleaver.
After defeating Golem, the Transmitter will gain a second mode with a tooltip "2nd Omega Prototype 'Mechanical whirls beneath the ground, be wary of the deadly sound'". Using the item in this mode will summon Omega Gigapora.
After defeating Moon Lord and receiving the Keycard, the Transmitter will gain a third mode with a tooltip "3rd Omega Prototype 'Feel the sense of frustration, prepare for obliteration' Only usable after the first 2 Omega Prototypes have been defeated". Using the item in this mode after defeating previous Prototypes will summon Omega Obliterator.
After defeating Nebuleus, Angel of the Cosmos, the Transmitter will gain a fourth mode with a tooltip "4th Omega Prototype 'As the noise dies down, the end draws near; ******* **** **** ******, *** ****** ** ****' Only usable after Nebuleus has been defeated". Using the item in this mode currently does nothing.
