The Empty Crux Card is a miscellaneous item found in Elder Wood Chests. Additionally, it is sold by the Fallen after the player has obtained the Spirit Walker Ability.

Talking to certain NPCs while having the Spirit Walker Ability active will allow the player to request a Crux from them. If all the conditions of that NPC are fulfilled, having the Empty Crux Card in the inventory will imbue it.

Before obaining the Spirit Walker, holding this item while in the Caverns layer will summon a Guiding Stranger that floats towards the Underground Portal, allowing the player to easily locate it.
