Bosses
Mod of Redemption adds a total of 11 new bosses and 11 new mini bosses available for the player to battle.
Pre-Hardmode Bosses
Thorn, Bane of the Forest
Thorn, Bane of the Forest is a warden of faywood, consumed by Thorn Blight. It is summoned with a Heart of Thorns. It fires thorns and stingers, can slash at the player, and summons a barrier around itself to deflect projectiles. Thorn, Bane of the Forest drops a number of weaponry themed after its brambles upon defeat. |
Erhan, Anglonic High Priest
Erhan, Anglonic High Priest is a priest of Anglon. He is summoned with a Forbidden Ritual, which will summon a demon that Erhan promptly kills, initating the fight. He hovers above the player, using holy magic, occassionally dropping to the ground to catch his breath. Erhan, Anglonic High Priest drops a number of weaponry themed around holy magic. |
The Keeper
The Keeper is an abomination that used forbidden necromancy. She is summoned with a Wedding Ring. She hovers around the player, shooting bouncing bolts, waves of blood, soul charges, or tries to slash with her scythe hand. The Keeper drops a number of weaponry themed after herself upon defeat, as well as Grim Shards, a crafting material. If the player is holding the Abandoned Teddy, the fight will end peacefully, and doing so will cause her to drop the Keeper's Circlet, an accessory that causes various Skeleton-related enemies to become friendly. |
Seed of Infection
The Seed of Infection is the carrier of the Xenomite infection. It is summoned by using the Anomaly Detector. It flies around the player, shooting projectiles, charging the player, or summoning small Hive Growths. The Seed of Infection drops a number of weaponry themed after itself upon defeat, as well as Xenomite Shards, a crafting material. It also drops the Necklace of Sight in Expert Mode, which increases the player's critical strike chance and improves vision. |
Hardmode Bosses
King Slayer III
King Slayer III is a robot from the previous great era. He is summoned with a Cyber Radio during the Day or by reaching Slayer Star Rating of 6. King Slayer III drops a number of weaponry themed after himself upon defeat, as well as Cyber Platings, a crafting material used to craft the weapons dropped by him. |
Omega Cleaver
The Omega Cleaver is a large sword controlled by a Wielder Bot. It is summoned by using the Omega Transmitter's first option. The boss drops Corrupted Xenomite, crafting material used to craft Omega gear. |
Omega Gigapora
The Omega Gigapora is a large drilling machine. It is summoned by using the Omega Transmitter's second option. The boss drops Corrupted Xenomite and Omega Power Cell, crafting materials used to craft Omega gear. |
Post-Moon Lord Bosses
Omega Obliterator
The Omega Obliterator is an autonomous war machine. It is summoned by using the Omega Transmitter's third option. It has lasers, fires projectiles, and has a second overheat phase. The Omega Obliterator drops Omega themed weapons, and Obliterator Brains, crafting materials used to craft Omega gear. |
Patient Zero
Patient Zero (Kari Johansson) is the first victim of the Xenomite Infection. It is summoned by entering the final room of the Abandoned Lab and attacking its eye in the middle of the room. It fires xenomite themed projectile and laser with various patterns. Patient Zero drops some Xenomite infection themed weapons, including a consumable that permanently increases the player's health. |
Ancient Deity Duo
The Ancient Deity Duo is a rematch against Eaglecrest Golem. Eaglecrest Golem utilizes more intense attacks compared to its original battle. If Eaglecrest Golem is brought down to 50% life, it will transform into Ukko, the ancient 'God' of Weather. When Ukko is brought down to 75% health, he will fly away and come back with Akka, the ancient 'Goddess' of Nature. Akka attacks with poison bubbles and causes floating islands to fall on the player, while Ukko summons lightning bolts and rain clouds, and charges at the player with its lightning chariot. When defeated, Akka will drop nature-related items, and Ukko will drop lightning-related items. |
Nebuleus, Angel of the Cosmos
Nebuleus, Angel of the Cosmos is a nebulous seraph. She is summoned with a Galaxy Stone. She uses numerous star themed attacks. On Bad Route, she gains an accessible second form after the first phase is defeated, which greatly increases the difficulty of the fight. She drops numerous Nebula themed weapons, including a consumable that permanently increases the player's health. |
Mini Bosses
Fowl Emperor
The Fowl Emperor is a pompous rooster miniboss. It can be summoned with Egg Crown. It attacks with eggs, feathers and its loyal subjects. It drops Fowl War Horn which can be used to initiate Fowl Morning event. |
Cockatrice
The Cockatrice is a mythical amalgamation miniboss. It spawns during the Fowl Morning event. It attacks with petrifying gaze, allowing for other chickens to swarm the player. It drops chicken-themed weaponry and the Egg Shelld, a defensive accessory. |
Basan
The Basan is a flaming hot miniboss. It spawns during the Fowl Morning event. It utilizes fire attacks, burning everything in its path. It drops chicken-themed weaponry. |
Skull Digger
The Skull Digger is the Keeper's first creation, and is a miniboss. He can be found uncommonly in the Cavern layer after defeating The Keeper if the player has Sorrowful Essence in their inventory. He drops the Abandoned Teddy, Lost Souls, and the Skull Digger's Skull Digger. |
Eaglecrest Golem
The Eaglecrest Golem is a large armored earth-based miniboss and has to be summoned by killing Sleeping Stones, which spawns rarely on the surface but may be expedited through use of a Eaglecrest Spelltome. It slashes at the player and chases after them while rolling. It drops the Eye of the Eaglecrest Golem and a number of weapons based around itself. |
Calavia, Warrior of the Iron Realm
Calavia, Warrior of the Iron Realm is a stranded chief-warrior miniboss. She can be encountered at the Underground Portal after Skeletron has been defeated. She attacks with her own Blade of the Mountain and Mistfall. She drops Blade of the Mountain, Mistfall and Pure-Iron Crossbow. Alternatively, the player can spare her and gain access to her quest line, allowing to get the aforementioned weapons without needless killing. |
The Janitor
The Janitor is a janitor miniboss. It jumps around and throws its broom and water buckets at the player. It has exceptionally high defense values, but by making The Janitor either hit itself with its own mop or slip and fall from the wet floor, its defense will momentarily drop to 0. It is summoned by entering its room in the Abandoned Lab. It drops Lab Access Panel - Alpha, which deactivates some of the laser security systems, allowing for further exploration of the Abandoned Lab. After defeating The Janitor, it can be talked to in a room next to the Irradiated Behemoth's arena for details about various topics. |
Irradiated Behemoth
The Irradiated Behemoth is an unfortunate scientist miniboss. It spews blobs and poison clouds at the player. It is summoned by reaching the bottom of the broken bridge in Abandoned Lab. It drops Lab Access Panel - Gamma, which deactivates some of the laser security systems, allowing for further exploration of the Abandoned Lab. |
Blisterface
Blisterface is an infected fish miniboss. It fires bubbles at the player which may spawn Blistered Fish. It is fought by approaching its room in Abandoned Lab. It drops Lab Access Panel - Sigma, which deactivates some of the laser security systems, allowing for further exploration of the Abandoned Lab. It also drops a Special Keycard used for obtaining the Nano Pickaxe. |
Protector Volt
The Protector Volt is a high-ranking T-Bot that guards the deeper sectors of the Abandoned Lab. He is fought by approaching his room in Abandoned Lab. He drops Lab Access Panel - Omicron, which deactivates some of the laser security systems, allowing for further exploration of the Abandoned Lab and fighting the MACE Project. After defeating Protector Volt, he can be talked to for details about various topics, or to request a rematch, allowing the player to fight Protector Volt more than once. |
MACE Project
MACE Project is an incomplete war machine miniboss. It attacks with fireball and various laser themed attack. It is summoned by approaching its room in Abandoned Lab. It drops the Lab Access Panel - 0, which deactivates some of the laser security systems, allowing access to Sector Zero, and the Patient Zero boss. |
