Alignment

Alignment is a mechanic in Mod of Redemption that causes changes in the world depending on the player's current level. Certain content is only accessible if the player has positive or negative alignment, indicated by a positive or negative value respectively. Alignment can be viewed at any time via the Chalice of Alignment.

Currently, alignment dictates whether Gathic Cryo-Crystals or Dragon-Lead Ore generate in the world after defeating Skeletron. Additionally, Nebuleus, Angel of the Cosmos possesses a second phase for players with negative Alignment, and the Forest Nymph NPC can only be accessed by players with positive Alignment. In the future, more Alignment based interactions and content will be introduced.

Skull Digger	-1	Beating this boss reduces alignment.
The Keeper	+3	Letting this boss's spirit rest increases alignment greatly.
Skull Digger	+1	Letting this boss's spirit rest increases alignment.
Forest Nymph	+1	Giving this NPC a home increases alignment.	Requires positive alignment
Calavia, Warrior of the Iron Realm	-2	Killing Calavia decreases alignment.
King Slayer III	-2	Beating this boss without calling a draw reduces alignment.	This will only happen if phase 2 is fought
King Slayer III	+2	Completing all of King Slayer III's quests increases alignment decently.
Nebuleus, Angel of the Cosmos	-6	Beating this boss reduces alignment harshly	This will only happen if phase 2 is fought
