The Mod of Redemption adds a plethora of new weapons and equipment for all classes. Redemption also adds many difficult boss encounters and other situations in which class builds should be optimized in order to efficiently succeed. This is a guide that will show recommended weapon and equipment builds for each of the four classes at various points in the game's progression.
Pre-Hardmode
Pre-Boss
Start as you normally would - gather materials for building, build a couple of houses, increase your maximum health, obtain basic weaponry and optionally prepare the summoning items for your first boss encounter.
Pre-Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu
Your first few bosses have been defeated, and with it, you can now obtain Demonite/Crimtane Bars (depends on your world's evil biome).
Pre-Skeletron
Either the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu have been defeated and Hellstone Bars are now available to be mined in the Underworld using either the Nightmare or Deathbringer Pickaxe crafted from their respective drops. Optionally, Queen Bee, Deerclops, and the Seed of Infection can be defeated for their respective drops to aid you in your upcoming battle against Skeletron.
Pre-Wall of Flesh
With Skeletron dead, Pure-Iron Alloy/Dragon-Lead Alloy can be obtained (depending on the route you took) with new weaponry available for both.
Hardmode
Pre-Mechanical Bosses
With the Wall of Flesh defeated, Hardmode has officially begun. Many new enemies and materials can now spawn, and Adam will sell the Nuclear Warhead, allowing the Wasteland to generate. The first thing you should do, however, is go to your world's evil biome and smash at least three evil altars to bless your world with new ores.
Pre-Plantera
At this stage, the Mechanical bosses and King Slayer III should have been defeated. Plantera bulbs can now generate in the Jungle and the Crashed Ship can be accessed as well, bringing with it new weapons for your arsenal.
Pre-Golem
With Plantera defeated at this stage, the Jungle Temple can now be unlocked, allowing you to face the Golem. Additionally, Ectoplasm can now be obtained from the Dungeon, which means the Holiday Moon events can be challenged.
Pre-Lunatic Cultist
Golem and the first two Omega Prototypes must be defeated in order to bring with them a plethora of new upgrades. These will aid you in your battle against the Lunatic Cultist, which can only be summoned after the Golem has been destoryed.
Pre-Moon Lord
The Lunatic Cultist has been defeated and the Pillars have been downed, with the final upgrades being prepared before the Moon Lord spawns. TIP: Make sure to down three of the four pillars before making preparations to take down the Moon Lord. Then you can take down the fourth pillar and wait for impending doom...
Post-Moon Lord
Pre-Omega Obliterator
With the Moon Lord defeated, that doesn't mean your journey has ended. Mainly, the lower levels of the Abandoned Lab can now be accessed, alongside new enemies spawning in them. High Security Lab Crates can be accessed within said Lab for new loot to help you take down the new, more powerful bosses to come.
Pre-Patient Zero
The Omega Obliterator and all the minibosses from the Lab have been defeated, which means Tier three Omega and Xenium weaponry is now available. Also, Patient Zero and the Ancient Deity Duo can now be challenged, though it is recommended to take out the former first.
Pre-Ancient Deity Duo
Patient Zero has been defeated, allowing the player to take on the Ancient Deity Duo.
Pre-Nebuleus, Angel of the Cosmos
The Ancient Deity Duo has been defeated, which means that Nebuleus can now be summoned with the Galaxy Stone at night.
Endgame
Every boss has been defeated, allowing you to do whatever you feel like at this point. You can use the Fragments of Virtue dropped by Nebuleus to craft endgame equipment.
