The Infected Tentacle in use.
The Infected Tentacle is a craftable Hardmode whip. Like other whips, it causes minions and sentries to focus on the last-struck enemy. Hitting enemies with the whip will summon a temporary Hive Cyst minion that sticks to enemies and rapidly deals 33.33% of the weapon's damage to them. Hive Cysts last for 10 seconds and a maximum of 2 can exist at a time. Additionally, the whip inflicts Green Rashes and Glowing Pustules debuffs with a 100% and a 20% chance respectively.
Its best modifier is Legendary.
