The Infectious Gauntlet is a post-Moon Lord Melee weapon dropped by Patient Zero. Using the weapon charges the player forward a short distance, bouncing off of enemies and firing a flurry of homing Infectious Fists if the Left-Click is held. The weapon deals Poison damage.
Its best modifier is Godly.
Notes
- The Infectious Gauntlet can be considered a direct upgrade to Slayer's Rocket Fist, due to their similar functions, Infectious Gauntlet's higher damage damage, and firing more projectiles on hit.
- Despite this, the Infectious Gauntlet lacks the powerful Explosive damage bonus the Slayer's Rocket Fist possesses, though this downside is largely irrelevant at the point it is obtained.
Trivia
- The weapon currently possesses among the highest base damages of any weapon in the mod, dealing 500 damage. This just barely surpasses the Plutonium Railgun's 488 base damage.
