The Calcite Wand is a craftable Pre-Hardmode wand that can also be bought from the Skeleton Merchant. When used, it creates a Calcite Stalagmite at the cursor's position that starts falling down after 0.57 seconds, gaining 0.6 vertical velocity every frame. Calcite Stalagmites gain bonus flat damage equal to 200% of their current vertical velocity, which translates to a 1.2 damage increase every frame or +72 damage per second.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Notes

• While the projectile's damage increase technically does not have a top value, after falling for five seconds it will automatically vanish, effectively removing any cheesing strategies by capping the stalagmite's fall time.
