Blind Justice, Demon's Terror is a craftable Hardmode sword. When the attack button is held down, a Radiance Spin Slash will be charged up that will rotate the weapon around the player, dealing 200% damage and destroying any hostile Shadow projectiles. A total of 15 homing Lightmass projectiles will be released during the Spin Slash that deal 20% damage each, can pierce 1 enemy, and ignore tiles. Furthermore, Lightmass despawns twice as fast while inside of solid tiles and will not target enemies behind tiles.

Pressing Open / Activate directly before taking physical damage from an enemy will perform a parry. Parrying grants the player 60 immunity frames and allows the next regular attack to instantly unleash the Radiance Spin Slash without the need to charge it up, granting additional 80 immunity frames. The Spin Slash will also rotate faster and will deal 250% damage instead of 200%, however, the number of Lightmass released will be the same. Additionally, if there are any enemies within a 12.5 tile radius after the enhanced Spin Slash ends, the player will be knocked back in the opposite direction from the closest one and that enemy will be dealt 400% of the weapon's damage.

Its best modifier is Godly.

Notes

  • The weapon and Radiance Spin Slash deal double damage to Demon Type enemies.
  • Radiance Spin Slash cannot block Shadow projectiles that deal more than 400 / 800 / 1200 damage.
  • The parry will not take place if the enemy is stationary or moving at less than half the player's current speed.

Tips

  • The weapon's Holy damage combined with its double damage against demons makes it a very useful tool for Underworld exploration.

  • 0.8.0.4070: Lightmass now deals Arcane damage.
