The Self-Sufficient Lightning Rod in use.

The Self-Sufficient Lightning Rod is a Hardmode wand found inside Standard Security Lockers in the Abandoned Lab. Releasing the attack button after at least 0.5 seconds will fire a lightning at the cursor, damaging enemies in a small radius around it. Additionally, it has a chance to zap any enemy within 25 tiles of the player, with the chance increasing based on the weapon's charge time. The lightning's damage also scales with the charge time, using the following formula: x+(y*4), where x is the weapon's base damage and y is the time the attack button was held for in frames.

If the attack button is held for longer than 2.67 seconds, the weapon will automatically discharge, firing lightning at every enemy within 37.5 tiles. This lightning deals 2x of the weapon's base damage.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
