The Global Discharge in use.

The Global Discharge is a Hardmode wand found inside Holochests in the Crashed Ship. When used, it launches a lightning sphere in the cursor's directon that explodes shortly after, zapping and dealing damage to any enemy within 37.5 tiles of the sphere. Holding the attack button will keep the sphere tethered to an energy stream emitted by the wand. The wand can be aimed to control the momentum of the sphere. Releasing the button afterwards will explode the sphere, however it will not produce lightning zaps.

The lightning sphere's damage is calculated using the following formula: $x*((y/10)+0.4)$, where $x$ is Global Discharge's base damage and $y$ is the projectile's current velocity.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
