The Hydra's Maw in use.

The Hydra's Maw is a craftable Hardmode magic weapon. When used, it fires two gravity-affected streams of acid that can pierce twice and inflict the Hydra Acid debuff. Pressing ⚷ Open / Activate will consume double the amount of mana and launch a harmless Orb of Acid that explodes into 18 Hydra Gas clouds upon contact with tiles or enemies. Hydra Gas clouds can only deal damage twice, can go through solid tiles, and inflict the Hydra Acid debuff. Hitting the Orb with the stream of acid will burst it, increasing the range of Hydra Gas clouds and launching 6 additional acid stream projectiles.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
