The Hammer of Proving in use.

The Hammer of Proving is a craftable Hardmode melee weapon. Holding the attack button while in the air will thrust the hammer downwards, increasing the player's horizontal acceleration by 50% and maximum fall speed by 10. The weapon deals bonus damage based on how fast the player is falling. The formula for the damage increase is i*((k/8)+1), where i is base damage and k is the player's vertical velocity. If the player's vertical velocity is 20 or higher, hitting enemies will afflict them with the Stunned! debuff for 3 seconds.

Hitting an enemy will bounce the player upwards. If the player hits the ground with the hammer after bouncing at least 1 time, a pair of Holy Hammers will erupt from the impact before flying directly at nearby enemies. Bouncing multiple times before hitting the ground will summon additional pairs of Holy Hammers, up to 5 pairs after 5 bounces. Holy Hammers can target enemies through tiles and inflict the Incandescence debuff for 2 seconds.

Its best modifier is Godly.
