The Hammer of Proving is a craftable Hardmode melee weapon. Holding the weapon will grant the Heavy buff which doubles the player's fall speed. When swung, left click can be held down and while in the air will increase the users fall speed greatly. It's damage will increase up to 750 depending on the speed of the player's fall.
