The Tesla Coil is a post-Moon Lord Staff found in High Security Chests in the Abandoned Lab that deals Thunder damage. Right clicking with the Tesla Coil switches attack modes between a Single Target or Multi Target mode.
Single Target mode fires a continuous stream of lightning toward the cursor, dealing massive damage to a single point.
Multi Target mode fires a several short ranged bolts of lightning that hit all nearby enemies at once.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
Tips
- Due to its massive single target damage potential, the Tesla Coil is a highly effective choice for mages against many boss fights, especially helped by its ease of obtainment.
- However, it struggles against more mobile threats such as the Ancient Deity Duo, due to requiring foes to be close to the player to reach its full potential.
