The Lighting Stone is a pre-Hardmode summon weapon dropped by Eaglecrest Golem. It summons a Lightning Stone that quickly dashes at enemies and has a 25% chance to briefly inflict the Electrified debuff. Hitting an enemy with a whip will cause all summoned Lightning Stones to strike that enemy with lightning, dealing 25% of the summon's original damage.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical weapon has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
