The Lighting Stone is a pre-Hardmode summon weapon dropped by the Eaglecrest Golem. It summons a Lightning Stone minion that quickly dashes at the nearest enemy and has a 25% chance to briefly inflict the Electrified debuff. Hitting an enemy with a whip will cause all active Lightning Stones to strike them with lightning, dealing 25% of the summon's base damage. The lightning strike has a 0.33 second cooldown before it can occur again.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical weapon has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
