The King's Oak Staff is a craftable summon weapon. When used, it summons a Nature Pixie minion that dashes at enemies and occasionally yells at the enemy, which deals double damage and has a 50% chance to inflict Confused. Nature Pixies can only deal contact damage while dashing.
Additionally, King's Oak Staff is required to obtain a Forest Nymph's trust and start her questline. In order to gain the trust of a Forest Nymph, a Nature Pixie must be active while approaching her and the player must have +1 Alignment. If the player has killed a Treebark Dryad before, then the Alignment requirement will be increased to +3.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical weapon has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
